South Alex.
South Alex needed to feel like a place before it was even built. As Senior Art Director at Delucchi, I led the brand identity for the new residential development in Alexandria, Virginia, along with the physical environment, marketing, and website needed to bring it to life for future residents before a single unit was ready to show.
The brand had to do double duty: sell a lifestyle that didn't exist yet, and hold up once people actually moved in. I built the identity system, signage, and on-site environment to work together as one experience, then extended it into marketing campaigns and a website built to carry prospective residents from first impression to lease signed.
City life. Suburban ease. That tension became the whole brand, a development that felt fully formed from day one, with brand, environment, and marketing all speaking the same language before the first resident ever walked through the door.
